Replacing my zip slider:
By replacing your damaged slider with a ZlideOn slider, here are the zip problems you can resolve easily and very quickly:
- The teeth no longer engage, but they are still present.
- The slider cap is damaged.
- Under pressure, a row of teeth has come loose from the slider.
- The rows of teeth have become misaligned.
- The slider has become jammed in the lining or other fabric panels.
- The old slider has come loose from the zip.
- The old slider no longer grips and won’t slide.
- The ZlideOn slider can close your zip, even if a tooth is missing.
- The slider is rusty (a common occurrence with outdoor gear, fishing tackle and nautical equipment, particularly when exposed to sea water and sea spray)
ZlideOn is resistant to sea water and therefore does not rust! You can leave it on an external zip all year round, whatever the weather.
Made in Europe from cast zinc, it is much more durable than the original sliders on our clothing or equipment.

Repairing a zip has never been quicker!
Without any sewing or unpicking, you can now repair your zips in just a few seconds!
With every order, we’ll provide you with installation instructions and a wedge to help you open your Zlideon slider more easily. All our sliders clip on, so they can be used on multiple garments or items time and time again! In fact, if you want to remove the slider to clip it onto another zip, simply lift the tab and press down on it whilst holding the body of the slider (see step 2).
If you’re unsure which Zlideon slider to choose, please take a look at our reference chart which you can download and print out to compare with your fastening. It is full-size.
